Spring Hexie Garden

These few things are part of a wedding gift I made for a girl who loves bright colors!  The small wall hanging/table topper is my first hexagon project.  They were so fun to make!

Next, this small flower pad is meant to go under a centerpiece or to be used as a trivet. The edge is bound with a narrow white bias tape. It was a little tricky to get the curves smooth, but I like the crisp edge.

Finally, I made a hot pad with some chocolate appliques to go with the ones on her registry. She loves animals (and works at a private zoo) so I chose this piece with the little goat. :)

These were such fun little projects to work on! Cheerful and bright.
